1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to KhoeliMedia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the KhoeliMedia platform, including our website, mobile experience, APIs, and all related services (the "Platform").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Platform in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
To use KhoeliMedia, you must:
- Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher)
- Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- Not be barred from using the Platform under any applicable law
- Provide accurate, current, and complete registration information
3. Your Account
3.1 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Keeping your password confidential
- All activity that happens under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use at admin@khoelimedia.com
3.2 Accurate Information
You agree to provide truthful, accurate information and to keep your profile up to date. Impersonating another person or entity is strictly prohibited.
3.3 One Account Per Person
You may not create multiple accounts to evade bans, manipulate votes, spam, or otherwise abuse the Platform. We reserve the right to merge or delete duplicate accounts.
3.4 Account Sharing
Accounts are personal. You may not sell, transfer, or share your account with others without our written permission.
3.5 Facebook Login
You may create or access your KhoeliMedia account using Facebook Login. If you do, you authorize Meta Platforms, Inc. ("Facebook") to share certain information with us (such as your Facebook user ID, name, profile picture, and email address, if you grant the email permission).
- Your use of Facebook Login is also subject to Facebook's Terms of Service and Meta's Privacy Policy.
- You are responsible for keeping your Facebook account secure. If your Facebook account is compromised, your KhoeliMedia account may be too.
- You can unlink Facebook from your KhoeliMedia account at any time in your account settings, or by removing KhoeliMedia from Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites.
- If you delete your KhoeliMedia account, we will delete the Facebook-derived data we stored. See our Data Deletion Instructions for details.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, respectful purposes. You must not:
- Violate any local, national, or international law
- Post false, misleading, or deceptive content
- Harass, threaten, bully, or intimidate other users
- Impersonate any person or organisation
- Collect other users' personal data without consent
- Use automated bots, scrapers, or crawlers without permission
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform
- Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's operation
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the Platform
- Use the Platform to distribute malware, spam, or phishing content
- Manipulate votes, RSVPs, reviews, or any engagement metrics
5. Your Content
5.1 Ownership
You retain ownership of any content you post on KhoeliMedia — including events, communities, places, projects, reviews, comments, images, and messages ("Your Content").
5.2 License You Grant Us
By posting content, you grant KhoeliMedia a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable license to host, store, display, distribute, and promote your content on the Platform and in related marketing, subject to our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except where:
- Content was shared with others who have not deleted it
- We are required to retain it by law
- It's necessary for legitimate business purposes (e.g., backups)
5.3 Your Responsibility
You confirm that:
- You own or have permission to share all content you post
- Your content does not infringe anyone's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
- Your content complies with these Terms and all applicable laws
6. Prohibited Content
Do not post, share, or upload any content that:

| Copyright-infringing | Content you don't have rights to share |
| Spam | Repetitive, promotional, or irrelevant content posted across the Platform |
| Malware | Viruses, phishing links, or malicious code |
7. Moderation & Enforcement
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:
- Review, monitor, or remove any content at our discretion
- Suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms
- Preserve and disclose content if required by law
- Restrict features for users who repeatedly break rules
Content moderation decisions are made in good faith, but we are not responsible for user-generated content. If you see content that violates these Terms, report it using the report feature or contact admin@khoelimedia.com.
7.1 Appeals
If your content or account was actioned and you believe it was a mistake, you may appeal by emailing admin@khoelimedia.com within 30 days. We'll review and respond in good faith.
8. Intellectual Property
The KhoeliMedia name, logo, design, code, and all platform features (excluding your content) are owned by KhoeliMedia or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Platform without our written permission.
8.1 Copyright Complaints (DMCA-Style)
If you believe content on KhoeliMedia infringes your copyright, send us a written notice to admin@khoelimedia.com that includes:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work
- Identification of the infringing material and its URL
- Your contact information
- A statement of good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate
9. Third-Party Services
The Platform integrates with third-party services (Meta / Facebook Login, Google AdSense, CDNs, SMS gateways, location providers, etc.). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy §8 and §9 for details.
We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.
9A. Facebook Login
KhoeliMedia offers Facebook Login as an optional way to sign in or create an account. This section explains the terms that apply specifically when you use it.
9A.1 What Happens When You Use Facebook Login
- You authenticate directly with Facebook — we never see or store your Facebook password.
- Facebook shares a limited set of data with us based on the permissions you approve (typically your Facebook user ID, name, profile picture, and email if granted).
- We use that data to create and manage your KhoeliMedia account, as described in our Privacy Policy §9.
9A.2 Your Responsibilities
When using Facebook Login, you agree that:
- You will only link Facebook accounts that you own or are authorized to use.
- You will not use Facebook Login to impersonate anyone or create deceptive accounts.
- You are responsible for all activity on your KhoeliMedia account, whether you logged in with Facebook or with a phone number and password.
9A.3 Unlinking & Deletion
You can disconnect Facebook Login from your KhoeliMedia account in your account settings, or by removing KhoeliMedia from Facebook → Settings → Apps and Websites. Unlinking stops future data sharing but does not delete data we already stored. To delete your data, follow the steps in our Data Deletion Instructions.
9A.4 Meta's Role
Facebook Login is provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of Facebook is governed by Meta's own terms and policies. KhoeliMedia is not responsible for Facebook's services, availability, or data practices.
10. Advertising
KhoeliMedia is a free platform supported by advertising (currently Google AdSense). By using the Platform, you agree to see ads. You may not block, hide, or interfere with ads in ways that violate our ad partners' policies.

11. Payments & Fees
KhoeliMedia is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features, premium services, or ticketed events in the future, additional terms will apply and be presented to you at the point of purchase.
Any future payments will be processed through secure third-party providers; we do not store full payment card details on our servers.
12. Termination
12.1 Termination by You
You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting admin@khoelimedia.com. Upon deletion, your public content may remain visible in limited forms (e.g., anonymous references in other users' threads) unless you request full removal.
If you signed up with Facebook Login, account deletion also removes the Facebook-derived data we stored. See our Data Deletion Instructions for full details.
12.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account without notice if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Pose a risk to other users or the Platform
- Engage in fraud, abuse, or illegal activity
- Repeatedly receive valid user reports
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ends immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (e.g., intellectual property, liability, dispute resolution) will continue to apply.
13. Disclaimers
The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
- Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any content
- That events, places, or communities listed are accurate or safe
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, KhoeliMedia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:
- Your use or inability to use the Platform
- Content posted by other users
- Events, places, communities, or projects listed on the Platform
- Unauthorized access to your account or data
- Any interruption or cessation of the Platform
Our total aggregate liability to you will not exceed the greater of LSL 500 or the total amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
15. Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless KhoeliMedia and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your content
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of any third-party rights
16. Dispute Resolution
16.1 Informal Resolution First
If you have a dispute with us, please contact admin@khoelimedia.com first. We'll try to resolve it in good faith within 30 days.
16.2 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Lesotho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16.3 Jurisdiction
Any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved informally will be brought exclusively in the courts of the Kingdom of Lesotho.
16.4 Class Action Waiver
To the extent permitted by law, disputes must be brought on an individual basis and not as part of any class or representative action.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page
- Notify you via email or in-app notice for material changes
- Give you reasonable time to review before changes take effect
Your continued use of the Platform after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
